It started with coffee mugs...

Hi! My name is Amy, and I am the artist behind the business.  In August 2021 Caffeinated Fairy was born from a love of coffee and a dream to be able to quit my day job and homeschool my child.  I designed and sublimated coffee mugs for individual orders, as well as a collaboration with a friend's store. I specialized in designing snarky hobby and occupational coffee mugs.  I would recruit my husband at the holidays to help me pack orders, that was a good time for both of us.

When people started going back to work after the pandemic, I noticed they switched to buying more tumblers instead of mugs.  That forced me to pivot to another interest of mine - stationery.

I've loved stationery since I was a child...

You can never have enough stationery!  I enjoyed making a variety of products - stickers, sticker sheets, greeting cards, and magnetic bookmarks.  I didn't have much of a vision at the time, and my mug designs didn't translate as well as I hoped to stationery.  I decided to pivot again to another love of mine, while still keeping some stationery products in my store.

Knit gnomes and small decor...

I've always loved knitting and crocheting growing up, and I've always had a love for yarn.  My love for gnomes was growing, so I decided to pair them together. It was fun at first, and I even sold my gnomes in a local store.   Over time, they didn't really feel aligned to my values, and my business name didn't fit anymore either.  I was uncomfortable and I knew I needed a big change.  I decided to go back to stationery, but this time with a meaningful vision.

I got a huge intuitive hit...

One day, after racking my brain for hours with what to do next, I got a massive intuitive hit that felt so aligned, I knew I just had to follow it. Shortly after that, Catwillow Studio was born.  She will be a work in progress for a while, but I'm looking forward to seeing it all come together!

Being on an intuitive path isn't easy, but I feel it's important work to provide tools for my customers that can help them connect to themselves and navigate their individual journey through life.  My goal through my artwork is to comfort the inner child, while providing a tool to support an organized and intentional lifestyle. Going through my own healing journey, it was hard to find tools that resonated, so I figured if I was having a hard time finding something that worked for me, maybe others did too.  So here I am bearing my soul to the world, in hopes to inspire others to do the same.
